Apprentices from specific professions can take part in our apprentice exchange and internship program. Our apprentices attend classes at our partner schools for several weeks and work in a local training facility. Apprentices from the partner school may also come to Switzerland, to attend classes and work in local companies. gibb is working on expanding the apprentice exchange and internship to further professions, partner schools and countries.
In brief
Our partner schools
When you spend a few weeks in a foreign country, attend school and work there, you get to know a different way of life and work culture. These are valuable personal and professional experiences. gibb therefore shares the vision of Movetia, the national agency for mobility and exchange, that all apprentices should take part in a mobility activity during the course of their education.
gibb currently offers exchange opportunities and internships in Finland and Germany:
Gradia vocational school in Jyväskylä (F) for cooks EFZ and restaurant specialists EFZ
Vocational school for construction technology in Hamburg (D) for EFZ draughtsmen, specializing in architecture and civil engineering
Vocational school for the hotel, catering and food trade in Hamburg (D) for cooks EFZ, restaurant specialists EFZ and meat specialists EFZ
